To date, Ledisi's discography includes eight studio albums, first one of which is 'Soul Singer: The Revival' released on January 1, 2000, through LeSun Records. A few years later, in 2002, the next album 'Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue' was issued but kept the singer at the same level.
What cannot be said about the next releases, namely, the third studio album, Lost & Found published on August 27, 2007, was able to move the singer from the dead spot. Having made a significant hiatus between albums in 5 years, the singer focused on a slightly different approach to music and thus earned more recognition. Lost & Found, which brought the singer two Grammy nominations and a large number of sales of the album over 200,000 copies.
Veteran R & B queen Ledisi also released a holiday album called It's Christmas in 2008 and presented special Christmas show entitled Ledisi Christmas aired on the Gospel Channel. Ledisi Christmas aired a 30-minute show. Thereafter, the next album 'Turn Me Loose was released on August 18, 2009, crashed the top 5 of the Billboard US R & B. On March 10, 2011, during her opening act in Atlanta, Georgia, Ledisi announced that she had finished recording her fifth studio album, Pieces of Me. It was released on June 14, 2011.
It debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 album chart, selling 38,000 copies in its first week. Three years later, the next album The Truth was released on March 11, 2014, and also took high positions on Billboards charts. Ledisi expressed the album was about self-discovery and growth. At the moment, her latest studio record is 'Let Love Rule' issued on September 22, 2017, and due to be promoted with the massive tour in summer 2018.
